Given the current economic climate, the welfare system faces even bigger challenges, but learning of all kinds can empower people to take control of their lives. This is the principal concern of NIACE’s response to the Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) welfare reform consultation, which closed yesterday, Wednesday 22nd October.
