Ian Austin MP, the West Midlands Regional Minister, presented three European Social Fund sponsored award on the 11th May at the RAF Museum in Cosford. 

National European Social Fund Opening Doors Awards – Jobjunction Employment Partnership at Birmingham Airport

National European Social Fund Group Award – Practice Plan Limited – Shropshire Council's County Training

Regional European Social Fund Award Winner West Midlands – Dane Phillips

There were also special categories this year;  two awards sponsored by the Museum, Library and Archive Council West Midlands and one by the Open University West Midlands.

Other sponsors were Open College Network West Midlands, Association of Colleges and Telford College of Arts and Technology, Screen WM and Ufi WM
