The Key to Your Success - a positive range of images to help promote learning

Key learners awardThe Key 'family' is a series of high quality marketing and publicity tools that can be used in a number of ways to encourage adults into learning.

How to access the Keys characters.
The entire family of characters are available for you to FREELY download straight away.
Simply click here to access The Keys - they are easy to use, available in colour or black and white (instructions on use at the top of the download page).

Your target audience for a campaign may be an adult who needs encouragement to return to learning for the first time since leaving school, or it might be those learners whose employment prospects would be substantially improved through learning where maybe a disability, language barriers or having family responsibilities has excluded them in the past.  I am sure you will agree that those adults who are actively seeking to fulfil their potential will also respond well to the Keys.

The Keys characters will be make learners feel welcome, and will promote the feeling of an on-going level of help, support and "hand-holding" designed to encourage even the most timid of learners to take that all important first step.

Keys mugs keyrings CDsYou can use the images in a wide variety of situations from tee-shirts to posters, headed paper to book marks, pull-up stands to conference folders - in fact a wide range of marketing and publicity items. The image has already been used to produce a very stylishly designed award, many of which were presented during Adult Learners' Week 2007.

You can read The Key Award winners' stories.  This is a wonderful example of aligning the Key image and a specific campaign such as Sign Up Now, Quick Reads and Adult Learners' Week

Birmingham and Solihull Equal Engage project carried out market research with providers and learners. The Keys were selected as being the most suitable for the encouragement of new learners, who responded particularly well to the positive and friendly aspect of the campaign.

This project has been part funded through the EQUAL initiative of the European Social Fund.  NIACE is a non-governmental organisation working for more and different adult learners.
